I recognize that IPTLD is not for everyone or every condition, and that there are many alternatives to choose from. But IPTLD has saved and helped many lives, and is wonderful for those patients it works for.

A recent article on the medical Journal Cancer Research 69, 7507, October 1, 2009. Published Online First September 14, 2009; doi: 10.1158/0008-5472.CAN-09-2994. Confirms that an induced and controlled lowering of the blood sugar is useful in the fight against cancer.
IPTLD/IPT my treatment in use for Cancer since 1946 has taken advantage of the induced hypoglycemia or low blood sugar to fight cancer.

Three patents have been issued for IPT in the United States, and the last two have also been issued in Canada.

These are all primarily method patents. And medical method patents are generally not enforceable, except through contracts.
None of these patents have ever made any money for their holders, and in fact, they all cost money. However, they do serve as brief and clear descriptions of IPT, and they serve as historic markers.
