Debra, survived cancer for 3 decades:Fate works in mysterious ways, when learning about IPT was a bit like finding a needle in a haystack.

Fate works in mysterious ways.

Debra, survived cancer for 3 decades. Fate works in mysterious ways, when learning about IPT was a bit like finding a needle in a haystack.

I came to Dr. Donato Perez Garcia III circuitously, at a time when learning about IPT was a bit like finding a needle in a haystack.  Dial back to 1997, before social media, before Rabbi Google.  I was 41, the mother of a one-year-old boy, and, I thought at the time, in glowing health.  Discovering I had breast cancer did not compute because I was the pillar of strength.  The only thing I could attribute its emergence to was the preceding two most stressful years of my life.  Among other things, during this period I watched my mother slowly wither away through two rounds of chemotherapy in a failed attempt to beat back ovarian cancer.

In my mind, I decided I would rather die than subject myself to what she went through.  And thus started my search for alternatives to radiation and chemotherapy.  During this search I discovered a mouthful of mercury fillings were causing my mercury levels to go off the charts.  I found a trustworthy, pioneering dentist affiliated with a health and wellness clinic in Florida -- 2500 miles from my home in Oregon -- and flew there to undergo the lengthy and costly procedure of having my mercury removed.  During the chelation phase at the clinic I made friends with the nurse practitioner, who learned of my history with breast cancer, and how I had managed to avoid its widespread advance, but not its gradual spread.  Nothing I did seemed to stop it.

I left Florida for a few weeks, and when I returned, my nurse friend had just come from Mexico, where – while I was gone -- she studied an innovative cancer treatment with Dr. Donato Perez Garcia III.  Her enthusiasm was barely containable.  Knowing I was leaving for Oregon the next morning and with no time to waste, she sat me down in her office, where we poured over the thick IPT training manuals she had brought back and she explained to me her understanding of how the treatment worked.

Back home in Oregon, while I was researching the scant handful of doctors on the west coast practicing IPT, an old friend from graduate school called me.  I told her I was considering Mexico for a cancer treatment I had learned about.

"Hmmm, I'd be careful about trying anything in Mexico," my friend cautioned.  "But that said, I do have a friend who was treated for cancer many years ago in Mexico City, and she's doing just fine today, traveling all over the world eating whatever she wants."  (Over the years I had shared with my friend numerous and ridiculously extreme diets I had tried since diagnosed with cancer.)

"It couldn't be the same treatment,” I said.  “The doctor I'm considering is in Tijuana, not Mexico City."

"The next time she calls I’ll ask her about it.”

A few weeks later, my friend called again. I couldn’t believe my ears when she told me her friend had been treated by a Dr. Donato Perez Garcia, but in Mexico City, not in Tijuana.  "No way,” I said, jaw dropping.  “Is this just an insane coincidence – two doctors with the same name, one in Mexico City and the other in Tijuana?"

“Maybe he moved from Mexico City to TJ?” my friend suggested.

“I guess.”

Of course, soon thereafter, sitting in Dr. Donato Perez Garcia III's reception office soon thereafter, and browsing through literature, the mystery was solved.  It was his late father who had successfully treated (back in the late 1960’s) my friend’s friend in Mexico City.

As for me, it has now been more than 30 years since I first saw Dr. Donato, and I am fine today.  I started with an intense series of IPT treatments which, under the good doctor’s supervision, were gradually tapered off over the years as my body recovered.

I don’t believe any cancer patient is ever completely out of the woods, because any number of things can trigger its onset.  For me, an overabundance of either stress or sugar almost certainly will.

But what I do know is that the IPT treatments gradually reduced the tumor(s) to negligible levels, enabled me to strengthen my body, and to go on to lead a healthy life unfettered by fear about living with or dying from cancer.

I am indebted to Dr. Donato Perez Garcia III for my life, and consider him to be one of the angels on this planet.

I see so many ways in which your treatment , Dr. Donato, would help close gaps in the many holes in our present day medical system with all of its delays.

I long for the days when it was just you and me chipping away at a slow-growing breast cancer. I felt so cared for and safe, really. You saw me through more than three decades of good health—with setbacks, but nothing I couldn’t recover from. I was able to raise my son without disease and in dignity. This was the greatest gift ever to a mom with a young child. In my family and circle of friends, you are and always will be one of the true angels on this planet. For your ongoing care and support through the years, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

Dear Dr Donato Perez Garcia III., Take care.

It is my hope that this letter will give encouragement to and instill confidence in anyone considering IPT as a treatment.  And if you’re lucky enough to be Dr. Donato’s patient, count your blessings.

With love and appreciation, Debra D. (February 28, 2025)

Annie B. True Story

MY EXPERIENCES WITH IPT AS A PATIENT OF DR. DONATO PEREZ GARCIA III

Annie B. True story

Dr. Donato, quite simply, saved my life! I will always be grateful to him, he will always hold a special place in my heart, and I will never be able to repay him.
I was diagnosed with advanced-stage breast cancer on Friday the 13th of July 2001, after a biopsy of a swollen lymph node. Because they found it in my lymphatic system, I was automatically at least stage II, with metastatic breast cancer as my diagnosis. The doctor immediately booked me for a double mastectomy, chemo and radiation, starting the following Tuesday. Because I have a dysfunctional immune syndrome as well as several other immune-related diseases, I knew that I had to be careful about what I did to, and put into, my body. After extensive research that weekend, I came to the conclusion that traditional surgery, chemo and radiation would kill me. I decided to try alternative treatments.
I did research and found IPT. I was so excited when I read about this gentle yet effective therapy: kind to the patient, tough on the cancer. It was also important to me that it had been used successfully against cancer for decades.
The doctors found, during further tests, that I had lesions in my brain and my lungs. When I told my doctors about my decision to do IPT instead of conventional, they predicted that I would be dead within six months.

I searched the existing database on GETIPT.com for a doctor near me in Austin, Texas. However, because the website and database were a volunteer effort by one overworked researcher, they were not up-to-date; the doctors listed near me were no longer in practice. Also, because the therapy was still considered “experimental” (even after 70 years in existence and 40 years of use as a successful cancer therapy), my insurance would not pay for any of the treatments. With the overhead of U.S. medical practices, the treatments were more than I could afford.

I decided to call the grandson of the inventor and the most experienced IPT practitioner, Dr. Donato Perez Garcia III, in Tijuana, Mexico. I was used to the lead-time for appointments in the U.S. being several weeks, so he surprised me when he informed me that he could evaluate my case as soon as I could get there. When I asked how long after that I would have to wait for treatment, should he decide to accept me as a patient, he said he could do a treatment the same day as evaluation, if he thought he could help me! The added value was that the overhead is much lower in Mexico, so I could actually imagine affording the treatments.

I made my appointment for later that week. I made both airline and hotel reservations, and I gathered my medical records. The email that Dr. Donato had sent me gave me explicit instructions and directions, so I felt fairly comfortable. I had heard stories about the border cities in Mexico, so I was somewhat concerned, but, again, Dr. Donato put me at ease.
When I got to Dr. Donato’s office, I was pleasantly surprised to find an office that looked just like any other doctor’s office. The receptionist spoke fluid English, and I was soon shown into Dr. Donato’s office. He spoke with me for a long time, examined my records, and then said he thought he could help me. He asked if I would like to have my first treatment. Having hoped for that eventuality, I had fasted starting at midnight the night before: I was ready!

The treatments are easy and last about 2 hours. I am very comfortable; I usually read a book during the first part of the treatment. Dr. Donato is very available before, during, and after the treatment. He answers all questions and concerns.
The IPT treatments are very gentle. I never lost my hair, and I never got sick. The treatments made the cancer a non-event! I actually considered my treatment trips a mini-vacation! How many times have you heard a cancer patient say that?
I am now totally cancer-free, and all my scans are clear. I will never stop being grateful that I found IPT and Dr. Donato.

Lucinda’s Testimony

Lucinda’s Testimony

Hi, my name is Lucinda Tosi, I’m an american but was raised in Costa Rica and Peru. I have ovarian cancer with peritoneal carcinomatosis. I heard about this therapy over 15 years by internet and I thought It was very “sane-logical” the use of insulin to potentiate the chemo delivery system to the cancer cell, using less chemotherapy that what is traditionally used, much much less.

It is a very nice and pleasant experience, except the struggle with the cancer itself. My diet has changed so much, zero sugar (that’s been really hard) and wheat, red meats and few saturated fats, few dairy, but mostly the sugar has been very difficult. In my opinion, doctor Donato is such a sweet person, it does me good just to see him every day, he answers all my questions, he treats me like a real person both him and the chemo has helped me so much. I could only be here for 4 weeks, now I have to go back to Costa Rica, maybe have surgery, maybe traditional chemo, I still don’t know, or if I may return to Tijuana, it is complicated for me to come to Tijuana. I recommend Hospital Angeles it is a neat place, I do recommend it, and this therapy. Thank you.

Yes. It is possible.
