After several months of planning the IPTLD protocol to treat young patients, affected by some cancers and chronic degenerative disease is available. I have put a team that includes a Pediatrician and a Pediatrician Oncologist to assist me and manage the young patients properly, including all needs like a port placement.
There are some restrictions and guidelines to accept a young patient affected with cancer. Parental consent is a must and in some cases the primary Pediatrician or Local Children's Hospital must be informed.
Back in the mid 1950's children affected by viral and other disease including cancer were treated by Donato Perez Garcia,MD (1896-1971) the creator of this medical procedure . Also during his 45 years of medical practice Donato Perez Garcia Bellon,MD (1930-2000) treated children and myself also treated children when learning IPT from 1983 -1988 with my father.
