IPT and IPTLD different treatment protocols.
Gral.Brig.D.E.M.Donato Perez Garcia,MD (1896-1971)
First Period comprises the discovery in 1928 till 1971. This was the period where the inventor the medical doctor Donato Perez Garcia, called his treatment "Cellular Therapy" and this treatment name according to my grand father described in simple terms his theory that insulin helped to deliver the prescription drugs inside the cell where they will correct the disease and also it produced a change in the physical and chemical reactions that occurred in the blood to restore balance and maintain the state of good health. He began to use this name since 1930. In the year of 1955 my father joined him and he continues using the same name and following the treatment routine without any modifications. Insulin which was made from the pancreas of pork was administered intramuscularly to patients. Because the substance was a protein it could not be administered intravenously because of the risk of an allergic reaction.

Second Period. It begins after my grand father death on December 12 of 1971 until 1982. My father continued administering the treatment the same way he learned from his father even two of the nurses that worked for my grand father continued with him as they knew the routine. IN 1974 he begins to use the name "Donatian Therapy" to his adaptation of the treatment and this were the modifications he introduced:1. - a cleansing enema prior to the treatment using flax seed and leafs of senna boiled in water.
2. - nasal administration of oxygen during the procedure
3. - Developed some formulas of his own to treat some cancers and one was a vaginal insert to treat cervical cancer in women by making the vaginal insert by mixing several substances. This vaginal insert was placed after the patient had emptied her bowels.

Third Period. I begin to learn the treatment with my father in March of 1982, always by his side and learning his routine that he learned from his father. I was seated by his side on his desk and took notes and he asked for my opinion on each of the patients we saw for consultation. By December of 1982, I introduced the intravenous use of insulin to patients receiving the treatment. Later that month the first modification of the administration procedure was in place and patients begin with the new routine. After January of 1983 the name continued to be Cellular therapy or Donatian therapy or simpler: the treatment.
The second modification took place after receiving a phone call in the year of 1984 by Steven Ayre, MD. Dr. Ayre was writing a protocol to be presented to the NIH and he required to have dosages, name of substances, why they were prescribed for what conditions and make it simple as the procedure he learned in 1975 from my father used several drugs and en enema. Since this was a big project and the idea was to make the treatment easy for the NIH medical doctors I worked to design a treatment that was simple and easy to administer. When I completed the job of having a simple method of administration for the treatment that can be easily administer the name Dr.Ayre consider appropriate was Insulin Potentiation Therapy or IPT. This new name was introduced in the year of 1986 and the first scientific article about the IPT treatment was published. My father was not pleased with the new name and he never used the new name in his daily private practice. In any event I was the creator of this modification and I was working with Dr. Ayre to bring this treatment into public life. I went ahead and begin training medical doctors on the modified treatment the first one was Dr. Ayre in 1997 and then to more medical doctors in February of 2001 during the First training workshop held in a Conference in Las Vegas, NV to a group of 21 M.D's. from the USA and Canada. After this date I went ahead with the training workshops having trained more than 300 physicians from 27 countries.
Of the four protocols only two IPT and IPTLD protocols are being administered to patients. The IPT protocol is the one administered by all trained medical doctors worldwide. Trained physicians have a CERTIFICATE of IPT training.
